Help Bring an Animal Abuser Registry to Warren County
Your voice can help protect animals.
Wilson’s Legacy Animal Protection and Advocacy, Inc. is urging the Warren County Board of Supervisors to develop and adopt an Animal Abuser Registry law, using Saratoga County’s law as a model.
A publicly accessible registry of individuals convicted of qualifying animal-abuse offenses would give shelters, rescues, and people placing animals in new homes an additional tool to make informed decisions.

Subject: Please Support a Warren County Animal Abuser Registry
Dear Supervisor,
I am writing to urge you to support the development and adoption of a Warren County Animal Abuser Registry law, using Saratoga County’s law as a model.
A publicly accessible registry of individuals convicted of qualifying animal-abuse offenses would provide an additional tool to help shelters, rescues, and members of the public make informed decisions when placing animals in new homes.
I support Wilson’s Legacy Animal Protection and Advocacy, Inc.’s call for county action. Please help move this proposal through the necessary committee review and public hearing process and bring it before the full Board for a vote.
Please let me know whether you support establishing a registry and what steps you will take to advance it.
Thank you for considering this request to better protect animals in our community.
Sincerely,
